My Solar Powered House:)

If I had to choose between all of the energy sources to build my dream house I would choose solar energy. I would choose this energy source because the sun is just there in the sky u don't have to go and find it. Also, because the sun generates so much energy that we don't even take advantage of and we should. Even when the sun is not out and shining we could get special plants that store the sun's energy away until we need to use it, which would be a major advantage. Another reason why solar energy would be good to use is because the sun's energy can be generated right into electricity. However, the solar systems I would need to generate the energy would take up a lot of land, scientists could think of some ways to some how make the machines smaller so that they would not take up as much room. So to build my dream house I would choose to use solar energy as my energy source because it has so many advantages to it. Although, it has some disadvantages as well I would try my hardest to fix them to make my dream house perfect!

Energy Sources

I think that the United States should encourage Green Technology because it is so much better for the environment than the energy sources we use now. For example, we could use solar power to power our houses and cars. I think that if we would all switch to Green Technology our environment would be so much cleaner and safer for us and the animals that live in it. The sun is a natural source of energy that we have not tapped into fully. Solar energy would also be able to be stored on cloudy days so we would still have full energy potential. If we didn't use solar energy another option we would have is wind energy. There is already wind energy in usage in West Virginia in Tucker County. We could just grow the population of the wind energy units and that would also work just as well to help our environment be a better usage of our energy sources. The wind power energy would be a successful alternative during the stormy seasons because then you don't have as much sun and there is more wind to be harnessed.
